QUBEdocs Connector - Scheduling your documentation

Scheduling your documentation is easy with the QUBEdocs Connector. 

Firstly select the planning server you wish to schedule documentation for by going to the QUBEdocs Connector (http://:8081). 

Going to Connections and clicking on the one you want to update.

Next click on the Schedule tab

The first thing you should click is the toggle next to Enable, then it's time to set up your schedule.

You have two options here, weekly and monthly.

Weekly

With a weekly schedule you can choose the time and day you wish to generate your documentation on. 

For example, the below will generate a new copy of documentation on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thrusday and Friday at 8:30 AM

Monthly

With monthly you can choose the time you wish to document it and the day of the month

For example, the below will generate a new copy of documentation on the ninth day of every month at 8:30 AM

Additional Configuration

Under every planning configuration you've created you have two additional settings, you can update your metadata automatically and you can export a backup of it to another directory. 

If you don't already have a mechanism to backup your models metadata frequently, these settings could save you a ton of time.
