This process outlines how admin users can upload log files for use with the QUBEdocs Cloud Log File Search and Analysis solution.
Note:
- You will need to upgrade the TM1 setup files before the QUBEDocs Package Logfiles process is available. To do this, select the Setup TM1 Server option menu option from the far right hand menu in QUBEdocs cloud (shown below) and follow the instructions below.
- As an alternative and deploying the upgrade files and running the process below you can upload your log files (tm1server.log & process logs) by zipping them up manually in .7z format. 7z can be downloaded form here - https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
To begin the process, log into your model, via either PAW, Performance Modeller or Sever Explorer. Right click on the QUBEdocs Package Logfiles process, and select Run.
When prompted:
- Enter a directory on the server where you would like the package to be created.
- Use the default or the following your custom parameters
-
-rowcount
-
-days (Note that 1 day is all that is required if scheduling daily uploads)
-
-token (See the Connecting QUBEdocs Cloud to PA / TM1 Local (File Connection - File API Token Upload) article for details on how to to create a token).
-
Click Ok to execute the TurboIntegrator process and refresh the package.
** NOTE If a network share or UNC path is used, the account running the IBM TM1 Service will require access to this directory.
Log in to QUBEdocs and select the options symbol on the model you wish to use. Select Upload Logs.
Drag and Drop or Browse to find the package you created. Ensure that is a 7.zip file.
Accept the terms and conditions and click Analyze.
The package will then take a few minutes to upload.
Please continue on to the other articles in this section to learn about the analysis capabilities.
