Interrogating Users and Groups

The User and Group Analysis area provides information on the security model and the solution's users and groups. The summary page below includes an analysis of the different types of users in the system based on the permissions and also gives useful stats.

"Admin" users refer to users if they been assigned to the predefined admin, data admin or security admin groups. "Write" Users refer to users who have access to write to at least one cube and "Read Only" users refer to those who do not have access to update a single cube.

Each of the categories can be selected to navigate to more specific information. The report below is available after drilling on "users" and shows the detailed summary of user permissions.

From here, a user can be selected to reveal a detailed user profile which gives information on what the user has access to in the TM1 model. One or more additional users can also be selected for comparison purposes. 

Finally, individual objects can be selected to review which groups grant access to TM1 Objects and what type of access level they grant.
