Navigating QUBEdocs

QUBEdocs is pretty intuitive to navigate but the following guide will help you get up to speed with navigating pages and diagrams quickly.

Navigating Services / Pages

All QUBEdocs services are navigated via the sidebar. Simply select the option that is required to navigate to the appropriate area.  

The sidebar can be expanded and collapsed as desired by clicking the icon in the top right corner. 

Selecting Versions

Different models or versions of the documentation can be selected by clicking on the connection name. 

Breadcrumb Navigation

At the top of each page, breadcrumbs are used to enhance the navigation. Any of the levels that are hyperlinked can be clicked on to take users to the appropriate place in the documentation.

Preferences Menu

The preferences menu in the right hand top corner allows you to toggle on and off documentation options. 

The "Markup Changes" menu options shows changes marked up with cross outs and yellow highlighting in the change report.

The "External Mappings" option instructs QUBEdocs whether or not to show relationships that are present between different TM1 / PA models.

When the "Control Objects" option is turned on, all TM1 objects will be shown in object lists and diagrams, that is, user objects as well as system objects.  When this is turned off only user objects will be displayed.

The "Edit Tags" option allows you to edit object Descriptions and Tags that you have created

Searching the QUBEdocs repository

Searching the QUBEdocs repository can be achieved by entering a term into input field and either hitting enter or using the drop down to select the specific area that you want to search.  An advanced search can also be performed by selecting the Advanced Search button. 

Navigating Diagrams

The diagrams are very useful for navigating QUBEdocs. Objects in the diagrams can be selected to go to a specific object's page and lines can also selected to see what a specific relationship between two objects is made up of.
