Tutorial - Change Comparison

Change analysis is a powerful tool which you can use to better understand what's happening within your models and lower risk.

The first thing you'll need to do is click on Change Analysis under Analysis services in QUBEdocs.

From here you can select two snapshots to compare, they can be from the same connection or different (handy if you want to compare your production vs your development environment for example). In this example we will compare two snapshots from the same connection.

Once you've selected your two snapshots all you need to do is click compare

When the comparison is complete you'll see two things pop up on screen. Your change summary

And a breakdown of each object which has changed in your application

Lastly, for objects which have been modified you can click the far right icon under actions to see a breakdown of what's happened.

Here you can see that someone has changed the alias of two members and added the new member SLS07_AC.
