Exporting QUBEdocs Local Snapshots to QUBEdocs Cloud

In the past, when moving from QUBEdocs Local to QUBEdocs Cloud, local snapshots could not be transferred over to QUBEdocs Cloud. However, this is now possible to do with our latest version of QUBEdocs Local. More information about this feature can be found here.

Setting a Default Connection in QUBEdocs Local

Customers are now able to set a default model connection for their QUBEdocs Local instance. When set, the latest snapshot of the default model connection will be loaded when a user logs into QUBEdocs. More information about this feature can be found here.

Profile Dropdown

Users are now able to see which profiles they belong to in the profile dropdown at the top of the QUBEdocs menu panel.

Selecting the profile will switch the user to view QUBEdocs via the selected profile.

Installer Changes: Making the QUBEdocs KeepAlive Service Optional

The QUBEdocs KeepAlive Service is required in order for the scheduling feature to function. Without the KeepAlive Service, scheduling of generation and deletion will most likely not function as expected. However, there are some customers who do not require this functionality or may not yet have the necessary permissions on their service account when installing QUBEdocs for the first time so we have made the installation of the service optional.

When installing QUBEdocs, there will be a new dialog for the QUBEdocs KeepAlive Service:

If you do not wish to install it, please uncheck the box.

At a later stage, once the service account has the required "Log on as a service" permission or if the situation within the organisation changes, you may run the same installer again to modify the installation to include the KeepAlive Service:

(Please leave "QUBEdocs" checked otherwise the installer will remove QUBEdocs from the machine.)
